Inspired by classic British food and fresh local produce, owner and chef Stuart Smith’s family friendly restaurant Billings is set in the heart of Buntingford and boasts a delicious selection of hearty homemade cuisine. Billings blends classic, ingredient-focused menus with impeccable hospitality and comfortable surroundings.
If you’re looking for a light lunch, a sumptuous evening meal or a traditional Sunday Roast with all the trimmings, Billings has it all to offer.
Our cozy upstairs dining room is perfect for small intimate get togethers. Or you can book the whole restaurant for a larger gathering or special occassion. Please speak to Stuart who will be happy to discuss your requirements.

Private Functions

Our restaurant is perfect for celebrations including birthday parties, engagements, christenings and small wedding receptions. It can be used as an exclusive venue for parties or just as a drinks venue for your party if that suits your requirements.

So we are firing up ours (charcoal) and have created a set menu including some favourite seafood and meat dishes along with our delicious homemade desserts so you can sit in the comfort of the restaurant and relax while we do the hard (and smoky) work outside!
All Dads will receive a bottle of cold beer on arrival to get them in the mood ! They (we) deserve it!
